Good morning,
I'd like to know if it's possible that i can share the same files (for Firefox and Thunderbird for example) ? So if i surf on OSX and make some fav's or change the look, the equal apperance will be in Windows ?

Thank You!

Theoredically you could have both Firefox and Thunderbird "point" to the same location on either the OS X or Win partition. If your Win partition is NTFS things would/could get hairy. However, if the partition was fat32, and you pointed your OS X install to the profile on the Win partition, things should work. Alternativly, you could use MacDrive from MediaFour to allow read/write access to your OS X partition from Windows. The trick comes when you try and get Firefox to point to the firefox.js on the OSX partition and Thunderbird to point to the profile.

Some alternatives...

Bookmarks
I would look into a service like del.icio.us. You can sign-up for an account and access your bookmaks from anywhere. There are also various plugins that would allow you to snyc bookmarks in Firefox and perhaps Safari.

You can do this, to a lesser extent, with a .Mac account. You can sync your bookmarks to you iDisk, and the access them with a browser.

Email
.Mac is imap based, which means emails are stored on the server. You should be able to configure something like Thunderbird on the windows side to take advantage of your .Mac account. If your email uses a pop configuration, I couldn't think of a good solution.

I hope this puts you on the right path, it's not totally comprehensive I know, but it's a start. If there's enough interest I can spend the time and figure this out, for giggles.

Even if you're using POP, it's quite easy to set the settings in your mail client to leave the messages on the server until you delete them.

Iam dealing with the same problem. For the e-mail part I use Imap, which works great for me. Not only for my mac but also for a few other pc's. And it's easy to setup (if your mail-provider supports Imap... Trying to change the pop server name to Imap will sometimes work, f.e. pop.servername.com > imap.servername.com)

The "favourites" thing isn't that easy. Even though Firefox has a mac and pc version, I think they work different on the "favourites" and pluggin part. Anyone any experience? I don't prefere using a third-party server.
