Windows XP and Recycle Bin

Hi,

I have XP runnning on MacBook Pro 15. And while not perfect, it is very useful. (I long for better drivers and isight support...)

But...

I have installed MacDrive 6, and now the Recycle Bin always displays an error message "Cannot delete desktop. The disk is write-protected". It then proceeds to empty the trash, but the message always comes back.

How do I tell the trash properties to bypass the mac drive?

I had the same problem and MacDrive kept crashing XP so I opted not to purchase it...
