Just installed XP via Bootcamp on my brand new iMac. Everything works fine exept networking. I tried to make a connecting via the wireless adapter to my wireles-gateway and to a bluetooth deivce. Neither of them can make a connection. In OSX everything works fine. In XP the bootcamp drivers are installed... but when i update the list for wireless connections, it doesn't see my gateway or bluetooth device. What am i doing wrong.

Is your gateway broadcasting the network name?

Mine is, but I still found I had to go into the properties of the network control panel, and add my gateway manually as a preferred network, which gave me the opportunity to enter the security key.

Yes, It also work fine on my pc-laptop. It doesn't make any differents adding my gateway manualy. I won't see any sending device in the list. Sometimes it sees another gateway not even seen by my laptop... so something is working...

The bluetooth thing btw is working. Had to tell windows to allow connections to de computer.

Do you have a firewall or an antivirus protecting you from unknown wlan connections? disable it and test it again.
If you have a WEP or something, you will need to add your gateway manually. Try to use "shared key" and type in the correct SSID name. It is sometimes usefull to disable any WEP-key just for testing. Because if it works without any security password, then you now where the problem is.
hope these suggestions will help you

Thanks, you're right. It alsoo has something to do with a "channel ID". Realy don't know what it is, but when i set my router to Channel 13 (2412Mhz) XP on the Mac doesn't see it. Just set it to channel O1. Now i have to figure out how to get the WEP key right. It doesn't seem to accept it right now. Without WEP it works fine.
