I've been using Boot camp for a while. After a few weeks I started experience some problems, not sure as to whether they are related to bootcamp.
After reading a thread on this forum about swapping audio drivers (to be able to use JUST headphones in xp-mode), i changed the audio driver to the one avalailable with the xom solution. Worked fine.
The next time I started my computer under OS X i was prompted to install various program updates, which I did. Then I was requested to reboot. After this my mac refuses to boot into os x unless I use the safe mode (press shift while booting). In safe mode, I have no sound. Other stuff works ok, but I work with audio/media, so I'm in acute need of restoring my mac.
Note. Windows XP still runs ok.
What is the easiest way to restore my macbook to factory settings. That is, one partition, only mac os x. No altered epiloader etc settings.
Disk utility doesn't allow me to do any changes, formatting etc.
Extremely helpful for any help on this!!!
