Just to let ppl know, the system does NOT stop and "Do nothing" right after the boot of the CD for installing

The How To says: "IMPORTANT NOTE: This will launch the XP setup. For about 2 and a half minutes there will be NO FEEDBACK WHATSOEVER."

This is not the case with me. I get the IMMEDIATE "white text of black of (i guess XOM.efi) in center of screen (VGA mode?) then setup starts in a small window on the upper left of my screen (about 5"x3" on my MBP 2.16gHz) and setup starts loading drivers (HAL, etc) ..then

Patch #0 applied at 00707188
Patch #0 Found more than once at 00707188 and 00748188
Path #0 applied at 00748188
Patch #1 applied at 00744B1C
Patch Succeeded.

2000:0EEE int 13_48
2000:0EEE int 13_48

Then system locks up!
CD powers down after about 1 more minute...then system totally dies.

Have to hold power for 10 seconds to shut system off and restart it.

Using Retail Win XP Pro patched w/SP2 and patched w/the OEM and i386 extra files in the xp/patch tree of the zip file from this site.

Burned using Nero just like the instructions stated.

PLZ HLP!

hmm... im getting a similar thing with the 20" iiMAC's running 2gHz with 2GB ram and 250GB HD...

one thing is though that i dont get a setup window in the top or anywhere, just the black screen... any ideas?

all i did was split the drive evenly too, so i got 116GB per drive or so...

i wonder if i should reformat and lower the XP partition to 40GB or something...

we'll see!
