When you try to install iSight driver in Windows vista, although you show the folder where iSight driver is it does not install the bootcamp driver instead vista installs the default usbvideo driver from the system that is the reason we can’t get video from iSight. Vista reports as unprogramded.
If you go to the device properties and select update driver after the installation process and tell vista that you are going to pick the driver manually you will see 2 driver choice apple built-in iSight is the right driver if you choose that driver you will have a functioning iSight.

I have a similar problem, when I first installed the extracted bootcamp drivers (I tried to install the actual installation first only for it to fail half way through), iSight did appear to be working, light came but there was no picture. When I removed it and installed again it now it says USB Video instead of iSight in device drivers. I'm running the offical release of Vista Ultimate (from MSDN). This is my only gripe at the moment so if anyone has a solution to getting iSight working that would be much appreciated.

I got it working, Go back to update driver, browse for specific driver and rather than select the driver again select the option at the bottom "choose specific driver" or something similar.
Here you can select the isight, as it defaults to usb webcam. Thanks to the guy above for this:D
Anyone got bluetooth working or performance counters?
ta!!

This is old news. Look back, we've been doing this since RC2.
