It strikes me that the easiest solution for people who aren't as computer literate or are simply plain lazy would be to have a PPF patch file which would patch a normal Windows XP SP2 iso with all of the updates required.
Would this be feasable or are there simply too many XP SP2 variants out there?
You'd need a different patch for each international release but having the US, UK and various European patches would be a great start and would save people a lot of time.
If you've already patched your retail copy of XP SP2, you could release a PPF patch and upload it to one of the free file sharing sites, it shouldn't be too big!
