View Full Version : Allowing permissions in OSX for xp drive

When I try to add files to the xp partition or delete files from the xp partition in OSX, I get an error message that says I don't have sufficient privileges. How do I allow permission to make changes to the xp drive in OSX?

it sounds like you formatted the drive as NTFS, a format which MacOS can read but cannot write to. If you want to be able to modify files on your XP drive from OS X, you have to format it as FAT32.

F!.... Now I have to decide if it's worth it to reformat and reinstall xp a 3rd time so I can write to the xp drive....
