View Full Version : How To:Set a HotKey to eject a CD

Hey, I thought I'd share this software that I found with everyone so they could utilize it. It is free. You can set it so that if you press a certain key (eject key does not work here, the program doesn't see it), it will eject your CD. For example, I am using the Help key as my eject shortcut. Works great so far!

or, you can get hotkeyz for free. it has a remap function to remap any key to eject (except for the actual eject key, of course)

Guys this simple exe file just ejects the first cdrom it finds too - maybe nicer that a tsr program?

I'm not on XP right now so I can't test, but would this require you run the exe every time? I much prefer a hotkey--I've set F16 for the meantime.
