Is it me or did I just pay for a $1800 laptop in which runs Windows and the trackpad doesnt work? I am running the latest bootcamp and the trackpad on my machine stops working, works sometimes, and others requires a complete reboot.

I know this software is in beta, etc, however, this is insane. Why cant Apple fix this problem and release a new driver to fix it. It cant take their development team more than a couple days to write a fix to the mouse driver.

I don't know about you guys, but I think this situation sucks. The Macbooks are one of the most expensive on the market and with the price I expect the quality and the development behind it.

If Apple didnt want to get in the Windows arena, they should have stayed out. Now they are in, fix their sh-t.

It is indeed in beta, and Apple is actually pushing Parallels right now (the trackpad works fine there). My advice is to get an external mouse for Windows. You could even get a bluetooth one and not have to plug in any wires. The Macbook is really not that expensive for the components that go into it. Other manufacturers have low end models, Apple does not.

That said, the trackpad driver really is ATROCIOUSLY BAD. However, with some work, you can get back to the original default driver, which isn't so erratic, though it lacks scrolling and right click support.
