DVD stutters on XP

Macbook Core Duo 1.83

I have installed Windows using the bootcamp drivers. When watching a dvd either with PowerDVD, VLC or Windows Mediaplayer the DVD stutters in fast scenes. Anybody else experience this problem and any solutions?

Have you opened the system resources GUI to check if some resources are spiking? That should narrow down if it's a RAM or drive problem.
