My Windows clock and OS X clock are reporting different times. It appears that the system clock is set with the time zone offset applied? Does anyone know what is causing this?
Thanks,
Chris

This is not an isolated incident. I am having the same problem. If this were a PC system - i would say it has to do with the internal bios clock. I have no idea how EFI works however.

I'm pretty sure that what's happening is that OSX keeps the time at GMT and ajusts for timezones in software, whereas windows actually sets the system clock to local time. What will be funny is if people with macbooks (all of whom I'm jealous of) run the batteries dry and see the clock revert to 1969, even in windows, like on the older mac laptops

Ok, I'll just pretend I'm in Singapore. So I guess this needs to be fixed in the "pseudo-bios" or whatever is being used to boot Windows. Thanks for the info!

I set my time server to time.apple.com (and it works nicely). :D

Yeah, that's the way to do it. I changed my Time Zone, but then my date gets messed up.

Should do it automatically but I've always had problems with Windows time sync.
