Just looking to see if anyone has successfully installed XP home.

The question is, does that Wiki tip relate to the OEM or retail flavours?

I have sucessfully installed XP Home OEM, and have posted the file that needed to be modified on the updated wiki page.

Thank you! Looking forward to test it myself.

EDIT: The file looks like it is binary or something (not really at home with things like that). Did you have to use a hex editor like UltraEdit to modify the contents?

its just a text file.
