XP in a window in OSX

Hi.

I've been told, that I can use windows as a program in OSX - that I can see and work on my windows desktop in a program window in OSX.
My problem is, that I can't figure out how.
I've installed XP on its own partition and it's working fine when I boot in XP.

Can anyone please help me?

You're looking for a virtualization program, such as either VMWare Fusion or Parallels Desktop. There have been other threads on this forum on the merits (and pitfalls) of these programs; one of the more recent discussions is here (http://forum.onmac.net/showthread.php?t=3108).

Any leads as to how I can get the XP OS working on my MacBook Pro after installing the Parallels software?
All I have now is the virtual XP window with no functionality, no icons, no toolbar, etc.????
