What installer CD did you use? Retail or OEM, home or Pro or MCE, .
More details and I can help.

I had that problem with my first install. A quick Google search revealed the following page: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;319114
Follow those instructions and it should go away.

Hi Agustin,
You are having the exact same problem as me. First framdyn.dll not found upon each boot. Then I found the fix at http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;319114 which fixes that problem, but rvmuppck.inf can't be opened when I try to Add/Remove Windows Components.
I wonder if when you installed XP, did you get two file-not-found messages during the install? The first was clock.avi, then blastcln.exe. And also, have you been able to successfully install the sound driver at http://wiki.onmac.net/index.php/Users/Drivers? Also, are you using a 20" iMac? I'm just asking because I wonder if they are all related somehow...

I had all the same problems as you describe on a Corporate Windows install with my iMac 20". They are related...

Yes, I noticed very few programs on my Start menu too compared to a new XP install on a regular PC. Oh, and same here--only driver working is for the Ethernet. I'm using a 20" iMac btw.

Yes, I used a corporate install too, as did Agustin, except his was on a Mac Mini. Perhaps that's the linking factor?

I'm afraid not. I used a German MCE Version on a 2.0 GHz MBP, and I also get these errors... :( I will try to look into that a little bit more over the weekend.

Which corporate install did you guys use? I'm getting the same problems, and I used a Windows XP SP2 + Updates up to Feb '06 ISO from thepiratebay.
I had an error installing sp2.cab during setup, and another for a .dll that I can't recall the name of. That may be the reason?
