Anyone experiencing problems when logging onto MSN Messenger 7.5?

The regular Windows Messenger works perfect, but MSN 7.5 freezes my MBP 2.0. On reboot I get a Windows message saying it just recovered from a serious error.

yeah I figured, I probably have to re-install it, but being such a serious crash i thought it had something to do with XOM

Messenger actually picked up that I had a webcam (MPB iSight). Of course I then tried to download random webcam drivers and now that doesn't show up anymore! doh

gddamn! Ive re-installed 3 times with no luck..will try MSN 8..didnt know it was out..

Err... it's not. It's a Beta release. I have to send you an invitation. PM me your email address and I'll send you an invite when I get home. And no, I won't start giving out invites to everyone. Sorry, but I only have a few

If you ever get a chance to use MSN 8 I REALLY suggest you do so. It's also known as MSN Live. You can set up shared folders with certain contacts, adjust hues on even the main window, full screen video chat, etc etc
