I was also wondering this. I thought one of the rules for the competition was that it was meant to be an open-source solution to collect the prize money. In my mind a lot of people have paid a lot of money and still there is no code.
I realise that setting up a repository for devs to colaborate takes time, but I would have thought in the interim someone might make the source available as a download.
I feel this is seriously hampering others helping find solutions to the drivers. Also, the rEFIt project (creating a boot menu for multiple OSes) is being held back.
Not to put down the tremendous work done by all involved, but please hurry up and release the code.

This has just been posted on the wiki:
The goal for the source to be released is the 27th March or sooner. Currently the code is being cleaned up so that others can understand it. An hour spent now will save two hours explaining in the message boards.

That's quite fair. I actually did the same with rEFIt 0.1, which was quite a hack.
