I just got off the phone with a rep from Insyde, makers of InsydeH2O (which I'm 85% sure would get winxp on a mac). He seemed sorta dodgy, and when I finally told him I wanted to liscence their CSM for use on Apple computers, he said "I'm sorry, but we can't help you." I told him that we really wanted to get Windows XP running on the Mac and he was sympathetic, saying "Yeah, I dunno what Apple has planned, but I'm sorry that we can't help." And then he made a cryptic reference to an article in the 'inquirer' (or enquirer?) from 2 days ago.
So, in conclusion...
1) I wonder what Apple has planned with Insyde that would prevent them from liscencing their product to 3rd parties for Apple hardware, and
2) What was in this article he was alluding to.
My only possible clues are the article by John Dvorak from a couple days ago, which maybe what the rep was talking about...

This would sorta honestly be the sexiest solution of all... Still, I want that prize money, so don't count me out just yet.
