idea #1:
maybe an x86 bootloader can be coded from this information from the microsoft website:

idea #2:
maybe an efi-compatible bootable cd can be made that acts as an intermediary between the efi-interface and the os ... sort of like the days with sega dreamcast and the boot cd that allowed you to play burned games.
are any of the above viable? i have been researching efi-support for windows xp and there are no official plans to make an os-loader for it. All os-loaders currently used will be updated with no support for legacy os's.
