"Whine" Poll

Note that the "whine" only occurs when you are running OSX with MBP using a battery. The "whine" will occur when you're system is idling. If you are plugged in, the "whine" will not occur, so please make sure u are running on battery when testing.

The "whine" does not occur under Windows XP because Windows uses a heavier CPU load when idle. (thus, shorter battery life).
