I have an idea that I am going to run by colin on how we can get more people in on the review process.

I propose setting up another php-forum and allowing a slightly larger group of trusted people to engage in a private dialogue about the testing process.

Being of the more technical background I forsee a great advantage in allowing a larger group of people to attempt the same process at the same time.

Now that "i suppose" the CSM module has been written, the possibilities in variation of booting process/software is of great variability.

I do realize that it is important to keep the results a secret until the legality of the process is verified. (I don't want to go to court.)

but.. it's up for discussion...

what do you guys think?

There are a few different versions of Windows XP, available in different languages. There are also different hardware configurations within the MacBook line, so testing only three seems a bit low - especially when you have a few dozen people willing to try.

Still, no biggie. I am sure any bugs or problems will be hammered out within a week or two of release.

I think that would be a pretty good idea. I'd be in on it with my MacBook Pro.

I would be interested in testing, I have a MBP 2.0 with 1GB of ram. Also have a copy of windoze xp SP2 home sitting here.

I'm hoping to get Media Center 2005 going personally. Especially if the remote still functions with it. Otherwise I bet a regular media center remote will also work as the IR Reciever is built in.
