Just got XP installed on my MacBook and ran the driver install from the BootCamp cd, but every time i boot windows, it asks me for drivers for a "USB Device." While I can just tell it to quit asking me, i'm wondering if I didn't screw up the (far from automated) driver install.

I have 5 devices under 2 categories listed in device manager without drivers:

Human Interface Devices
--> USB Human Interface Device

Other Devices
--> PCI Device
--> Unknown Device
--> Unknown Device
--> USB Device

the USB Human Interface Device is the IR port, but I'm not sure about the other 4.

EDIT: yeah so my actual question is are all 5 of these normal or should i just have 4, and if so, which is the 1 that should be working correctly?

I'll admit I'm not looking at the moment (I'm booted into OS X), but that sounds right. As I recall, iSight, IR receiver, ambient light sensor are all currently MIA. I'll boot into Windows and take a look there.

All of those are normal.

Is there something specific that you need to work, or are you just curious? If you aren't missing anything, just disable these devices, they won't give you any trouble.
