You have been able to do that since around July 2005 with the preview version of OS X Intel.
I think someone also cracked the current OS X Intel version so it would install on a PC, but Apple shut the site down.
By the way, you need SSE3 on your chip for Rosetta to run properly. I think your cpu only supports SSE2.

Turion supports SSE3. I had one :)

Just ran CPU-Z, it reports:
Instructions: MMX(+), 3DNow!(+), SSE, SSE2, SSE3, x-86-64
So the Turion should be able to boot OS-X? At least on Tatooine? just beyond the radar of the empire of course...
