View Full Version : MBP 2.0GHZ backlight won't turn off!

installed xp home sp2 on mbp 2.0.

under power settings, i have "turn monitor off" set to after 10 minutes. but for some reason, the monitor doesn't turn off! anyone have the same problem? any fix??

I have the same problem. I tried XP Pro and MCE 2005. Both screen saver and Backlight dont work.

yeah this is really bugging me.. if anyone has any suggestions please help

maybe this has to do with the number of displays listed under device manager?

there are 5 default monitors and 1 generic television and 1 plug and play monitor
