DVD Cloner III. Windows Media Player 9

Has anybody made a backup copy of a original DVD with DVD Cloner III? Mine reads it (very slowly) but can not burn it all the way. Also Windows Media Player 9 can not read any original DVD's. Why and what is the best dvd viewer?

WMP 10 does the same thing and this it the message I get when I try to watch any original DVD's: "Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a problem occurred with digital copyright protection."
