I've got Windows working on my 1.8GHz MBP but don't seem to be able to use the graphics card without crashing the machine. The ATI Catalyst drivers often crash (and the automatic recovery steps in), and opening a 3D game would just hang the whole system.
I've tried upgrading the drivers but have no idea which to download off ATI - do the latest ATI drivers work on the MBP? Or am I stuck with the one provided in Bootcamp?

What's wrong with the driver included with BootCamp that you'd be "stuck" with it? Search the forum for "ATI Catalyst" to read others' experiences trying to use them.

In my experience, the latest ATi drivers are very close to the drivers Apple included with Boot Camp. I don't see any increase/decrease in stability compared to Apple's drivers. That said, when I installed the Omega drivers, I did notice stability getting worse.
Although I have to ask: Beyond XP and the OEM drivers (Apple's), what have you installed? It is extremely rare for the drivers by themselves to be causing issues, instead of some combination of drivers, software, or additional hardware (like an external display).

I also experience graphic crashes during playing BFME 2. VPU recover comes up and tells me the graphic drivers have been reset since they did not respond anymore. What do you suggest, the new catalyst 6.4(which can work, i read it on this forum) or omega drivers?

Getting the same kind of crashes when I run Guild Wars. This machine is just out of the box yesterday with straight install of Boot Camp and Windows XP Home. I have a 17" Macbook Pro. I had a complete system crash the last time. The first time it just crashed the game.
