I used 2 monitors on the iMAC WITH INTEL chip - When I installed windows XP the 2nd monitor does not work. I posted a Thread last week,no ans. Please some one out there help. Window XP works like a charm. I can live without the 2nd monitor but it sure is nice when using Photoshop. Thanks BigBob

I don't think XP supports dual monitors just yet, but I have been wrong in the past :)

I have the same problem.
i'm running XP on a mac book pro. When I attempt dual monitoring with Apple Cinema Display it works. When I attempt dual monitoring with Gateway flat screen or Viewsonic CRT it fails.
HELP!!!!

What you will proberly find then is that the drivers for your X1600 are not installed (dont know anyone, including myself who have actually installed the drivers for the graphics card)
Or if you have then it wil be that the Mini-DVI port is not actually enabled for the software you are using, I use Parallels Desktop and i know that it does not allow for the Mini-DVI to Function withing whatever OS u install on it.
Hope this helps guys :)
