Hello everybody!
I've got a quite stupid question:
I tried to install WinXP on my MacBook Pro and recognized that I'm using the WinXP Update.
How can I eject the WinXP CD in order to insert my Windows98 CD? The eject key on my keyboard is not working in Windows Setup, of course, and I can't find an emergency eject on my MBR. Can anyone help?
Thank you!

I had the same problem; if you happen to have a USB external CD drive handy, you should be able to use that. The XP installer's USB storage drivers recognized my external burner, and I was able to use my Win2K CD to satisfy the upgrade requirement. Note that the drive should be connected and powered on, with the disc already inside when you start the installer in order for this to work properly.
Unfortunately, if you don't have another drive or some other way to manually eject the CD, you're probably out of luck.

It's Simple
from my computer, click the dvd drive
then press ctrl shift f10
select eject from the pop up menu ..
and for all of you that didn't know ctl shift f10 is a right click

We're discussing ejecting the disc during the initial install sequence, when you're still in text-mode. There's no option in software to eject a CD until you actually get XP running, as you're describing.
