I can't seem to get shared folders to work on the RC - when I select the shared folder in windows it says folder is not accessible, you might not have permissions to use this network resource. I've shut down Parallels, deleted the shared folder, readded it, and I get the same result. I did reinstall the Parallels tools.

anybody else experiencing this?

Is it able to read native partitions yet? Cause if not then there's totally no point in me looking to purchase this product. I'd rather dual boot with full use of the hardware without lame 'emulation', and lets face it, thats what virtualisation is until they make proper use of the vanderpool cpu partitioning. Parallels would only ever be a convenience if it allowed me to access the -existing- xp and/or linux installs, not create new images then re-re-install everything twice. I sent parallels an email asking about this but have gotten no replies yet....

Thats a really good point. I spend a lot of time right now with Windows in Parallels on my left monitor and OS X on my right monitor. I can copy and paste text no problem, and sharing files between the two is not bad with Parallels built in file sharing, but it certainly isnt native access of the harddrive. If I need to be really productive in Windows i.e. I need to use both monitors, or I need lots of CPU power, then I switch to running it natively.
