ati driver outdated and cant update

i am trying to play Half-Life 2 Episode 1 and right when i start the game steam tells me this warning:

basically it says that my drivers are outdated and i should get the latest version.
it lists my details and says i am running winXP with an ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 version 6.14.10.6606.

it gives me a link and says to go to the update page which is just
https://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&folderID=27

so i go to the page but i dont know which one to do. i tried a couple and all of them do not work. any ideas?

the game still works but i want to get rid of the warning and update my drivers if possible. thanks

I get the same message from Steam, but I just close it since HL2 Ep1 works with my already installed drivers great. By the way, I can't believe how good HL2 looks with Antialiasing on, Bloom on, graphics set high, etc. On a laptop! Love it.

The Omega drivers work for the X1600 on the MBP. Try them I bet they fix the problem.

can you give me the link to the correct omega drivers? ill go ahead and try to search for them thanks

nevermind ... you are a genius ... the omega drivers did the trick.
