Following the tutorial in the OnMac wiki I applied a new Icon to my windows drive but I no longer wish to have the custom Icon, how can I remove it? Is it even possible without reformatting?

I would guess by doing the oposite of what the OnMac wiki for the Icon, states.

For NTFS, removing the ".VolumeIcon.icns" file while in Windows should be sufficient. For FAT, you can just bring up the "Get Info" window in Mac OS X, click the icon, and hit the Backspace key.

Ah thanks, got it. I had tried to delete that file because that's what I assumed I had to do but it didn't show up in windows so I posted this thread and now seeing your reply you seemed to know what you were talking about which made me realise I had forgotten to show hidden files so I did and there it was. Thanks.

Could you explain how you did that? I tried it but failed miserably, probably on step 2 because it's too vague.
