Hey everyone, this may be an obviously-answered question but please bear with me...

I am a brand new mac user, just got my MacBook Pro 15" today and I'm absolutely loving it. I've already got Parallels RC2 installed with a Windows XP virtual all setup and updated with the latest patches. I downloaded and installed VirtueDesktops as well.

What I'd like to know is: how do I set up VD and Parallels so that I can easily switch back and forth between a fullscreened Parallels XP and my OS X desktop simply with Alt+Tab?

Thanks for your help in advance! :)

Since i don't own an intel Mac yet (dreaded bank won't let me establish a payment plan...have to save up  )
i wouldn't know about "alt-tab"

but essentialy, just setup a seperate virtual desktop parallels is on, an have one for your OSX use.

something even "cooler" then alt-tabing, especialy to baffle co-workers, -students, -whatevers... have a look at the "smack-book" mod.

you know how some people smack their computers when they're not working correctly.....?
Go at it like this:
- show your co-'whatevers' your MBP running Windows (via Parallels, Fullscreen, on it's seperate VirtueDesktop...Desktop
- pretend something isn't working like you want it to (maybe you don't even have to - it's Windows after all :D )
- smack your "SmackBook Pro" and have OS X apear and say something along the lines of "ah fixed it, much better"

Friend of mine does that from time to time and ppl are going like "o.O WTF ?!"

hahaha...that would be funny to do...

Captain Valor, all you do is open VD so that you can swich Desktops...Open Parallels and set it to Full Screen and now Switch Desktops using VD shortcut key.

I use Option + Arrow.

You should also chck VD preferences as there are a lot of things in there you can cange to make the experience more enjoyable.

Yep, I have what you have, but I use smackbook to run it. It's so great.

Parallels really is flawless now. I'm really happy with it.
