Hi to All

My first posting Here.

Ni matter what i Do, I can´t get my external FireWire 410 m-audio interface sounding without horrible Distortion, like ring modulated, downsampled sound.

I´ve removed, disabled the mac sigmatel drivers, checked the firewire drivers. etc...

In the Mac side of my Mac Book Pro, everything runs smoothly. On the Xp side, only audio is missing and I can´t work without music.

Do You know about any place where i could download the more suitable drivers for Xp running on Mac Book Pro ??

Thank You very Much

hi valenzulu,

i have the same soundcard and know those problems, but they just happend a few times. usually it is quite stable.
i have a macbook pro 2ghz, 2gb ram.
however - i did have problems with the m-audio firewire audiophile.. same problems with distortions and typical latency problems (in cubase mainly).

I've got an 1814 and it ran just fine under XP with no special drivers or hacks. I just installed the drivers and ProTools as instructed by DigiDesign/M-Audio. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the applicable software or changing the sample rate and/or bit depth of your 410.
