ArcGIS on intel Macs under Windows?

Someone asked me if the Macbook would be as good as a PC for Arcgis geographic information systems apps: www.esri.com/software/arcgis/index.html

I can't see any reason why not, if using Bootcamp or maybe even Parallels, but does anyone have direct experience?

I have successfully installed and run ArcView GIS 3.2 with Spatial Analyst and Patch Grid Analyst. Very responsive, even with large databases.
