I got my mac last week and have been glued to it since, downloaded parallels within a few hours of getting it and absolutely love it. Thank you OnMac.net!!

Anyway, I was bored at work today and figured it would be kind of cool to have the same wallpaper stretched accross my virtual machines (I use virtue desktops and the cube effect). I spent about half a hour trying very hard to cut the OSX abstract wallpapers in half and stretch them when it occured to me it I could achieve the same effect simply by having a copy of the wallpaper reversed on the windows desktop, thus having a continual wallpaper right the way around all 4 sides of the cube (I run windows on the face left of 'main' and ubuntu on the right) so I tried it and the whole thing looks a lot more.... proffessional now. Theres less shock factor when I spin round to windows and get presented with a horrible blue desktop and square icons.

Maybe someone will see what I mean, just thought I would share :) keep up the good work!

i get what you mean perfectly well,
but since i use FlyakiteOSX and some other things on my Windows to make it look as close to OSX as possible, i tend to like an at least slightly different wallpaper, so i don't get confused which OS i'm after changing desktops ;)
