Anybody successfully installed fedora for the MacBook Pro ?
I could not install using graphical interface (can't start X server)
Please help

Did you try using the boot argument "text" at the install cd boot prompt? You may be able to get Fedora installed in text mode and then be able to make the req'd changes to X to get it running.
If you like Fedora I'd wait for FC6 (I am). FC5 was weird and installing FC4 would have driver modules likely to be too antiquated to get you installed correctly.
IMHO, of course..

I'm still waiting for the download to finish. Try sabayon linux too. it works out of the box!

what distro are you guys using for the MacBook Pro? will the new Core2 mactel support x64 arch?
