o all >Plz Help>
Having some issues installing my version of XP Pro SP2 on my new imac.
Before i go on>does the XP Pro SP2 disc have to be an original copy or is it irrelevant??
After following the proper procedures from the installation guide and onscreen commands, i created the partition for Windows (32G), created the mac drivers CD and proceeded to windows installation.
Now>after my mac rebooted it immediately proceeded to the Windows XP installation screen>
it reads:
'To install Windows XP press enter, to repair any damaged files in windows press R and to quit press F3' after trying to press enter or return and every single key on the board 2 times over after that, my keyboard completely froze!
I was stuck on this screen after having tried everything i had to restart manually and replace the partition to a single volume! After using boot camp assistant to try to reinstall and create another partition> STILL the same problem>>>
Before anyone tries to answer, Yes my mac is an intel based mac, yes it has the latest firmware updates, yes i do have MAC OSX version 10.4.8, yes my keyboard is USB, i did try connecting the mouse to my USB port on the keyboard>NOTHING! everything is in order, Absolutely no keyboard function when i get to this screen.
Can anyone help>has this been an issue for any other mac users running XP?
How can i fix this? driving me insane!
