I installed the sound driver listed on the http://wiki.onmac.net/index.php/Drivers page...but I am not getting any sound out of the headphone output.
It looks like the driver installed correctly...is there something else I need to do?
Thanks!

I am on a Mac mini Solo. Same problem. I heard USB audio devices are working. I think I am going to do that until we get a working driver.

I'm in the same boat - audio driver installed but getting no sound from either internal audio or 3.5m headphone socket. I've not tried optical audio yet.
Here's my install procedure in case anyone who has theirs working can see where I might've slipped up.
Partitioned my CoreDuo Mini's HD: 1st Partition = DOS, 2nd = HFS+
Booted using the separate xom.efi from a thread here (NOT the one in the rest of the xom 0.1 archive)
Installed windows and then replaced the xom.efi with the one from the archive.
Installed airport driver, reboot, installed intel integrated graphics driver, reboot, installed intel chipset, reboot, installed sigmatel sound driver.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be extremely grateful. Obviously gaming isn't my only reason for wanting to run windoze, but FWIW, Half-Life 2 runs a treat...it's just such a shame I can't hear anything!

It's not the full game, just the demo from http://half-life2.com It seems perfectly playable to me, but I know that's not exactly a scientific answer. Tell me how I find out the frame rate and I'll let you know what it is.

I've downloaded the drivers from intel's site.
No luck with sound, yet. I get error code (1)
Earlier I was getting error code (10)
Tried installing in safe mode.
Conflicts for the following in device manager
PCI Device
Infineon Trusted Platform Module
PCI Device under Other Devices
Video Controller (VGA Devices) under Other Devices
Human Interface - USB Human Interface Device
Also had most of the codecs and tried to uninstall them and install the sound card first but that didn't help and now I can't get the rest of the codecs or the hardware to install.
I have a volume icon and it acts like it works but no sound from the headphone jacks.
Also took notice that Windows XP on intel mac does not keep time after being power down.

I got audio initially, but it seems to have suddenly stopped working--and if my memory serves correctly, then it stopped working after I used Windows Update (from IE).
Will update if I get more info on this situation.
Using 20" iMac btw..
Edit: System Restored and reinstalled driver, works great.

Mini Duo w/ sound drivers from the driver page seems to think everything is peachy keen, but no sound comes out. (but devices are all there)
Last time I looked when I un-plugged the (analogue) cable from the headphone jack, I believe I saw red-optical showing--is it possible that the driver defaults to using optical instead of analogue?
don't have optical speakers right here--can possibly test tomorrow.

I've got the sigmatel driver from the driver page and I can get optical port working on the mini but no luck with standard mini plug.
Does anyone know what the audio chipset on the midi is?

It IS defaulting to optical out for some reason. I've got the wrong connector on my optical wire (S/PDIF as opposed to the required 3.5mm jack) but if I can keep my hand steady enough as I poke the connector into the 3.5mm socket, I get audio from Windows.
The question now, is how do I disable the optical out in favour of line-out?

Steve! Did you use optical cables for the mini? I'm having the same problems as all the others. And yes would be nice if U could change some setting to use analog output instead of digital. Any news on that?? Are there any other sound drivers that might work?

Well I found the control panel for the sound, and turned off the digital only, but still nothing coming out....
I'm pretty sure the setup isn't finishing, otherwise the control panel and tray icon would install, but its not its just staying in the install folder that was created.. so it would appear perhaps not everything is being installed fully...

Interesting!! Well for now, I'll use my USB card, work perfectly. Please tell me if you find a solution on this problem, seems some people got it right, but again maybe they're using the optical out..

From http://www.cgno.com/codes/356.html
1) Enable console by running "C:\Program Files\Half-Life 2\hl2.exe" -console
2) Press ~ to enter the console
3) Type "cl_showfps 1" in the console

Thanks, Dirtymatt. Now that we've got analogue audio working on the mini, I'll go take a look and get you some framerates.
PS. In case you've not spotted it yet, this is the thread (http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=12853) I'm talking about RE: analogue audio solution.

I almost hope they're bad. I'm trying to talk myself out of buying a mini to play HL2, but it keeps getting harder.
