Hi folks,

I guess others face the same problem but I was unable to find a post exactly about this dual-boot problem.

I just tried install winXP on my brand new iMAC by following the CD creation steps and reboot instructions. Everything went fine but after blessing and restart my Mac. It only gives me an empty white screen; no crystal clear apple logo in the center that I should have. Waited for 10 min - nothing happens.

By pressing F4 it says:
XpOnMac v0.01 (C) JLA 2006
Using resolution 1440x900x32@60. ScanLineSize=0x1700. Video=0
Console enabled

If I hit an enter here it says:
Boot Error ----- Enter: Reboot F5: Exit

If I hit F5 here I get boot options:
0: Boot Mac OS
1: Boot Windows XP (by pressing down arrow key)

If I choose to boot into Mac OS I get nothing but white screen

If I choose to boot into XP I get error messages:
...bla...bla...bla...
Floppy: no floppy image found
CDRomBoot: no CDROM to boot from
HDBoot: no HD to boot from

Why it is not able to find the CD i created with Nero? It is inserted in the drive and I got no error messages during writing. In fact, my PC was able to boot from this Mac-friendly XP version.

Anyone else out there faced this problem?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Finally, my winXP boot CD is visible on reboot:

After removing the CD (F12), restarting and reinserting the CD when Boot WinXP is prompted the computer is able find the CD:

...bla...bla...bla...
CDRomBoot: Booting LBA 780@07c0:0000L2000

...and nothing seems to happen after 20 min...

Do you have a 20" monitor ? You need to use another xom.efi for the 20". If so. I have this issue with my MAC Pro, but the site to download it http://captobvio.us/xom.efi is down right now.

This isn't in the readme but it is on the wiki.
