Hi all..

Thanks ESPECIALLY to Steve1496 and Cipalis (sp?) who helped me get XP installed on my 2.16gHz MBP, however have questions.

Installed all 4 drivers (intel chipset, ethernet, wireless and sound) and still have many question marks in the device manager, including one USB HID device...

EXCLAMATION POINT:
USB HID:
USB\VID_05AC&PID_8240\5&11730951&0&2

QUESTION MARK AND EXCLAMATION POINT:
OTHER DEVICES:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_27A3&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_03\3&B1BFB68&0&38
ACPI\APP0001\4&38462492&0
ACPI\APP0002\A
ACPI\IFX0101\1
USB\VID_05AC&PID_8300\5&7A1792C&0&4
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_71C5&SUBSYS_00001002&REV_00\4&31B7BFB9&0&0008

Having said all that, I am assuming the following:

PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_71C5&SUBSYS_00001002&REV_00\4&31B7BFB9&0&0008
is my Video Card

USB\VID_05AC&PID_8300\5&7A1792C&0&4
is my iSight

What are the others and why are they not active?

PS: a hint to all, IRC (if you know how to use it) at the location given under "support options" on the home page is the BEST place to get you up and operational! EVERYONE THERE was amazingly cool as they aided and troubleshooted with me.

One more hint...If you performed a FAT format (full not quick) the first time, and you get the upside down windows symbol upon reboot, simply reinstall and tell it to do FAT QUICK format. It will go much faster the 2nd time and will usually work...it did for me. AND now i can access that partition from the mac.

TIA for the help!

Jann
