Help?!?

I'm hoping to get a Macbook. I have a disk from Dell that has Windows XP SP1 on it. Do you think I could use that disk even though it's from Dell? Also, can i update the Windows so it has SP2? I still have the computer so I do have the License number. Thanks.

You mean using Windows via Parallels or Boot Camp?
If you are talking about this, I can say that Boot Camp doesn't support removable HDs - you must have a partition on your hard drive to run Boot Camp from it.
And Parallels supports USB drives now very well and I think it wil work.

I suspect that by "disk", he meant installation CD.
