Hello, I would like to ask a question. I am having problems in windows xp when i hook my ext. monitor to a mini dvi to vga adapter and plug it into the mini Dvi port on the back of my 20" Intel C2D iMac. The issue is whn i plue it in it still is black, and the activity light dose not even turn green on the ext. monitor, and then about 2 seconds later, the macs display shrinks to 1024x768, the mouse pointer goes away so does the icons, windows, taskbar and the system becomes useless until i unplug the mini div adapter. Can someone help me make this work?
