Can anybody who is interested in helping solve a huge problem please download the free trial of AutoCAD from www.autodesk.com and see if it is able to run on the XP side? Any idea if a WACOM pen pad will work? There must be a Photoshop enthusiest among you that can test it.

There are many Mac users who would love to be able to do this. It is a sad thought to think one must buy a PC just for the sake of using 3rd parties for work or school.

Your work has opened many doors.

Thank you for all that has been done so far.

if the Wacom Pen Pad connects via USB then it will work.

the only problem right now is that the video drivers do not work and you cannot use an external screen.

You can read about what applications were tested already and how they worked in the Wiki (http://wiki.onmac.net/index.php/Software_Impressions#Working_Software). Photoshop CS and CS2 were tested and they work.

What would be an ideal size for an XP partition?(as not to waste space dedicated to inferiority) If the XP os is used very little, less than 25% versus OS X, would it be possible to boot from the internal, but write all saved files and projects to an external?

I have a Wacom Graphire3 and it works wonderfully. Drivers install, no errors or anything.

Funny you should mention AutoCAD. I was just going to install it when i got home so I can use it in my drafting class :p
