i have a 20" imac 2gig ram 250 gig hd...been following instructions to the tee and using the proper efi file...this is my 4th time redoing it and it comes out the same each time...i partition the hd with 2 partitions...one xp partition thats 60gigs and a second with the remaining space which is around 172 gigs for osx...i made the top one the xp partition and the bottom one the osx partition like you are supposed to...go through the install process in osx...bless the efi file properly...reboot... change the windows resolution....it copies files and gets to the partition screen in xp...i have 4 partitions...first is

"C Partition 1 <EFI> [FAT32] 200 megs <196 free>"
"F Partition 3 [New <RAW>] 61428 megs"
"E Partition 2 [Unknown] 176707 megs"
" Unpartioned Space 126 megs"

this is what comes up after i choose the partition that is 61 gigs in size which is obviously a problem because it is not the c drive...thus after it finishes copying all the files from the cd and reboots it doesnt have a valid c drive to boot from to continue the installation...ive tried this numerous times already with the same result...its basically copying all the files to this f drive which it creates when i choose the partition that is 60 gigs in size...it will give me ntfs fast and slow choices but its still not the c drive which i believe is my main problem to begin with....any ideas out there???

which is obviously a problem because it is not the c drive...

Windows does not depend on being in the C:. That's not to say that XOM doesn't (no source, can't tell you for sure).

i encountered the same thing on my 17in imac. all i did was go ahead and start the install on f. this worked fine untill the first restart, where it failed. i booted from the cd again, and this time the partitions were in the correct order. it might have been a dumb idea, but it worked...
