Okay, so maybe I'm getting greedy but . . .
I'm able to get the optical out port (s/pdif) working on the mini under xp. My question is does anyone know what the audio chipset (if that's the right way to refer to it) is on the mini. in the Sigmatel driver I see the option for 7.1 sound and I read on one of their pages that their optical ports are capable of not only s/pdif but also adat (eight channels of audio). I'd love to know if the optical port on the mini has this capability and we're simply missing the driver on the mac side.
