Which are the preferred option if I would like to run Microsoft dot.Net applications using Access databases on a Macbook core2?
The main product I'm looking to run is Omnitrader www.omnitrader.com (http://www.omnitrader.com) a stock, etc charting/trading program. It is CPU hardware intensive and requires 1 GB RAM alone to work OK on XP.
It requires ia dot net v2 and v3, MS C++ and Visual basic runtimes and runs on 2K, XP and Vista.
I'm happy to run it on my desktop XP for the forseeable future but would like to go Mac for a laptop and am interested in finding out whether this is feasible for my purposes.
i.e. any suggestions on which might be the best way for me to go if I'd like to use a Mac for forex, and stock market trading and I have a substantial investment in 32 bit Windows based trading software and which does not have any native Mac versions available.
Thanks
