hello all

please help me!!
i am running on MBP 15inch Core Duo 1gb ram

when i want to play a dvd in windows, the video is smooth but the audio is pretty choppy and have a lot of "crackling" sound; on top of that, the system is laggy.

however, on the OSX side, everything is normal. so that means the hardware (DVD drive) is okay but there must be something wrong with the driver.

do you guys think there is a fix for this???

thanks!

Did you install the drivers for the video card from the Leopard installation disk yet? (You would accomplish this by inserting the MacOS X 10.5 DVD while you're running Windows, and clicking through the appropriate dialogs on the driver installer, which should auto-run upon disk insertion.)

DMA and IDE channels are the cause of this mess
