1) When i select Windows I am then presented with a choice Windows XP Professional and Windows XP Professional (same thing) I did notice i had a half baked install from a previous attempt so i deleted the files but would like the streamline the process. And please don't say reformate the Windows partition and start over. Thanks
2) Since i have done this my clock on the os x side is all screwed up. I have it set to auto adjust and its many hours off (i have it set the the right time zone) and if i set it manually it just reverts. Any Ideas?

Thanks everybody for your input

Does the Windows XP Pro (x2) show up after selecting the windows logo? Like a normal Windows boot menu? If so, you need to edit your boot.ini file. In your root (C:\) directory, there should be a boot.ini file. This is a Hidden System file, so in order to see it, you'll have to go to Tools -> Folder Options, View tab, choose "Show hidden files and folders" and also uncheck the "Hide protected operating system files". After doing this, you should see a boot.ini in your C:\

BACK THIS UP.

If you screw up this file without a backup, you will have to reinstall, or do major surgery.

Edit out one of the lines that start with "multi(#)disk(#)rdisk..."

If they are both the same, it doesn't matter which. Otherwise try and distinguish (based on partition number) which one is the good one, and keep that one.

If you screw up and need to restore it, then you need to boot from Bart PE or Windows Ultimate Boot CD or something that will let you edit an NTFS partition (or just go to your Mac partition if you're on a FAT drive).
