I think the boot loader is spotting the third HD where all the EFI info is living

I do have to say that that ?folder is one of my biggest pet peeve about XOM - its so graphically pleasing otherwise other than this folder and the winXP DOS prompt when loading. Any ideas on how to remove either (i know that the mini has a modified boot loader that doesnt show the loading).

I get this folder too, but I see it for about 1/4 second only. I dont think its a problem, it just seems to be part of the initial bootloader code looking for the OS select option.

he's talking about when he's pressing the up/down keys.
The ? folder you're talking about is when the computer is locating the xom.efi file the the hd

people who know like nothing about computers are trying to do this. Their stupidity is enjoyable. They should just pay one of those idiots from geek squad(who also know nothing about computers, but still more than these people) to do this for them. But still my 64 yo dad (who may or may not be mentally retarded... my English teacher though he was) who doesn't even know how to work a mouse(seriously) could do this in his sleep(I mean... he drives fine while sleeping, seriously)

You are right.... That is why I donated money to the contest. So I could have someone tell me how do everything.
Thanks!

This far I only participated here passively be gathering information for the task.

After having read another of your very rude posts in another thread I first had to laugh.
But stumbling over your cacophony all over the place here is really getting me mad...
I really appreciate all you guys helping and I have even read a few posts from you, Rayne, where you really try to help.

Nonetheless I would really like to write down what I really think about your attidute to other people but both my upbringing and common sense are forbidding it...

Thanks again to all those who *really* are trying to help.
