from the day I got my Intel mini core duo I notice that the start-up chime is heard through the internal speakers. I have my external speakers connected and I don't hear it via those. how can I change this?
I want the start-up chime be heard via my external speakers.
also i have a device connected to the audio input on the mini, but northing comes out via the output port which my external speakers are connected to.
i can see via system preferences the sound input level is showing the sound levels ... that proves the sound in coming in, but I just can hear anything.
how do I go about fixing this? thanks
sound is coming from my VCR via a cable (don't know what is it called). do you know the name of the software I need to make this happen? I guess that;s what I need .... some application that would take the input audio and pass it to the output port.
